Grief and Loss

It is a normal and natural human response to grieve. These are emotions felt when we experience a loss. In this type of situation, emotions can sometimes be all over the place and felt as sadness, shock, anger, or guilt. There may be intense physical pain or you may even feel numb.

How can Wollongong Counselling Help?

We provide a compassionate environment for you and your grief. This is a sacred place to talk about what is going on in your body and to talk about the person (if this is the case) who has died. Death is the end of a life but your relationship with the person will still live on in your thoughts, heart and memories. We can assist you to continue and develop rituals that are helpful to you if you like.

It can sometimes be a relief to speak with a counsellor about everything you are going through.
